Share certificate updates

On 24 June 2010 EBT Mobile China plc posted a circular (the "Circular") to shareholders regarding a proposal for the introduction of a new holding company domiciled in the Cayman Islands by means of a scheme of arrangement under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006.  The new holding company is called “EBT Digital Communications Retail Group” and is domiciled in the Cayman Islands.   As set out in the Circular, Part 1, section 12.2, share certificates in respect of the new shares will only be issued by EBT Digital Communications Retail Group, following written request by the relevant shareholder.  Shareholders should note that the new shares are not capable of being held in CREST and no new ISIN number will be adopted for new shares. 

These days the Company received lots of shareholders written request for share certificates of the new shares. To be more convenient and efficient to the shareholders, the Company is under the process of arranging the issuance of share certificate to all shareholders.  The detailed arrangement will be announced in the coming days.
