Zhang Ge, Executive Director, Chief Executive Officer and President :
Mr. Zhang has been President
and Chief Operating Officer of the EBT's PRC companies
since 2002. Prior to this, Mr. Zhang
spent 11 years in the retail industry in Hong Kong
and mainland China with China Resources Group Co., Ltd.,
a leading Hong Kong conglomerate with interests in
Chinese retail operations. At CRC Group,
Mr. Zhang served as buyer,Deputy Purchasing
Manager, Operation Manager and Senior Manager of
China Resources Purchasing Co.,Ltd.,Director & Deputy
Genral manager of China Resources Purchasing & Investment
Co., Ltd.,and Director & General Manager of China
Resources Supermarket Company Ltd. Mr. Zhang received
his undergraduate degree in economics from Shanghai
Institute of Foreign Trade and an MBA from the
McLaren School of Business at the University
of San Francisco. He also received a Certificate
from the Senior Executive Program of Tsing Hua University.
Mr. Zhang currently serves as a Director of the
China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA).
Jian Hu, Chief Financial Officer
: Ms. Hu was previously Financial Controller of EBT.
Prior to EBT, Jian Hu was at British American
Tobacco China Ltd., where she was responsible for the
financial operations of more than 20 regional and area offices
throughout mainland China. Before that, she served as a senior
accountant at Price Waterhouse, working with foreign firms
operating in China as well as leading domestic companies
on PRC and overseas stock listings. Additionally, she focused
on financial due diligence review and statutory auditing for
both PRC GAAP and IAS. She received her MBA at the
Warwick Business School in England. Her professional qualifications
include a CPA and ACCA.
Wang Wei, Executive Vice President,
COO: Mr. Wang also serves as the Company's Vice President of
Purchasing, as well as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Wang joined
the Company in 2000 and has over 10 years' experience in software and
management information system development in the retail industry. Prior
major technology projects completed by Mr. Wang include implementing a
management information system for CRC Shop, a major supermarket chain in
Hong Kong and China. Mr. Wang holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree
from Yan Shan University. Also, he received a Certificate from the Graduate
Program of finance at China East Normal University.
Chen Wen Ying, Vice President, Operations
: Ms. Chen joined the Company in
2002, and since that time has restructured the Company's
PRC companies' financial department's operations.
Ms. Chen has many years experience as a financial
manager of both Chinese companies and foreign-Chinese
joint-venture companies. Ms. Chen served as the
finance manager of a large Japanese-Chinese JV before
joining EBT. Prior to that, she served as the financial
manager of a large Chinese state-owned enterprise.
Ms. Chen holds a degree in accounting from the Shanghai
University of Finance and Economics (Qualified Accountant),
and also a Bachelor of Science degree from the Shanghai
University of Engineering Science.
Zhang Yun, Vice President
(Regional Management): Ms. Zhang Yun is responsible
for the operation and development of EBT outside
Shanghai in China. Ms. Zhang Yun was one of the
managers who established EBT's subsidiary company
in 1998, and served in positions of increasing responsibility,
including Business Supervisor, Assistant to the
GM and the Vice General Manager. In 2000, Ms. Zhang
was appointed to General Manager of EBT Suzhou.
Under her leadership, EBT Suzhou has successfully
become a well know mobile chain store in this region,
with the largest market share in Suzhou. Now, Ms.
Zhang is leading her team to expand the EBT network
into Wuxi, Jiangying, Kunshan and other areas.
